Catlink has moved!
Effective May 1, Catlink's clinics are being held at the Lyle Activity Center located right off the north side of Hwy 14 on the corner of 3rd and Klickitat Street. The address is 308 Klickitat Street.
The new mailing address is Catlink, PO box 523, Lyle, WA 98635.
Our phone number and email remain the same: 551 298-8253 and catlink@mac.com.
Catlink no longer maintains a shelter. All cats and kittens are fostered at individual volunteers' homes. If you live in the Gorge, please consider becoming a foster home. The need is great, especially now during kitten season for Catlink and Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue.

Catlink is a division of the Rowena Wildlife Clinic that is dedicated to feral and homeless cats in the Columbia River Gorge area. We are an all-volunteer group that receives no public funds.
We work with area residents who are caregiving free roaming cats to trap, spay/neuter and return (TNR) the cats to their caregivers. In 2011, 2423 cats came through our spay/neuter clinics! The postive results of our on-going spay/neuter program are consistent with national and international studies on TNR programs. Please read a new study released by Alley Cat Allies' on their 10 year study.
The cats going through our program are the abandoned, the abused, the injured. Sometimes it’s a kitten born to a wild mother, while other times it is a cat whose life is in peril without intervention from Catlink. When possible, kittens are taken into our foster adoption program, cared for by volunteers until they are big enough to spay/neuter and be adopted. We are a no-kill shelter so each cat is cared for until the right family is found.
We encourage responsible pet care and retention of companion animals. Our goal is zero cat population growth through spay/neutering. Every cat deserves to have a responsible caregiver, whether it is a family pet or a feral cat.

We are not able to provide spay/neuter or medical services for personal pets - please read About Us. There are several excellent groups in our area who offer low-cost spay/neuter certificates for pet owners. Here are several that we know of:
- Dogs of the Gorge (also serves cats if you live in Klickitat County)
- PROD Promoting Responsible Ownership of Dogs (also serves cats)
- Home at Last Human Society sometimes has funds available for low cost spay/neuter coupons for pets
In August of 2010, Catlink was awarded a two year grant for spay/neuter program from PetSmart Charities®. This has allowed us to significantly expand our spay/neuter program and prevent more homeless cats, while improving the lives of freeroaming cats.
