Catlink no longer maintains a shelter and is not able to keep kittens and cats.  Our mission is to provide donation-based spay/neuter, vaccinations and emergency medical care for un-owned cats.

You may reach us by email at rwc.tnrproject@gmail.com or by phone at 541 298-8253

We do work with other organizations to see if they are able to in-take kittens and cats in peril.  This is not always possible however we will do our best to network with other resources to help cats and kittens.

Catlink facilitates Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of homeless and feral cats by working with other non-profit groups and volunteer veterinarians.   We are an all-volunteer group that receives no public funds.

We do not charge for this service and have a requested a donation of $20 per cat.  Typical charge for this service at a veterinarian is $170 for females and $120 for males.

We work with area residents who are caregiving free roaming cats to
trap, spay/neuter and return
(TNR) the cats to their caregivers. In 2011, 2423 cats came through our spay/neuter clinics!  The postive results of our on-going spay/neuter program are consistent with national and international studies on TNR programs.  Please read a new study released by Alley Cat Allies' on their 10 year study.

We encourage responsible pet care and retention of companion animals. Our goal is zero cat population growth through spay/neutering.  Every cat deserves to have a responsible caregiver, whether it is a family pet or a feral cat.

We are not able to provide spay/neuter or medical services for personal pets - please read About Us.  There are several excellent groups in our area who offer low-cost spay/neuter certificates for pet owners.  Here are several that we know of:
  • Dogs of the Gorge (also serves cats if you live in Klickitat County)
  • PROD Promoting Responsible Ownership of Dogs  (also serves cats)
  • Home at Last Human Society sometimes has funds available for low cost spay/neuter coupons for pets
  • The Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland keeps a list of spay/neuter assistance on their web site: http://asapmetro.org/resources/spayneuter-assistance/
